Nicely built LED gaming keyboard.
I like having a backlit keyboard especially because I find myself using my computer in the dark. Using a good keyboard is a must for me for writing for this website for starters, but also writing multitudes of care plan, and APA research papers for the nursing program. Recently I’ve run into a situation where my E button on my Macbook decides to come loose, so I was pretty excited to receive the 1st Player Fire Dancing keyboard and mouse so I can get some work done by skipping taking care of my primary issue.
The packaging that they keyboard and mouse come in is really nice but does have a couple spelling errors hidden throughout. This is definitely something that can be overlooked because opening the box I was very impressed by the quality and build of both products. The keyboard is pretty heavy and solid feeling. Mind you this is a mechanical “feeling” keyboard, and it does mimic the design of one without the price tag. I personally don’t need an over the top gaming keyboard, so this one suites my needs just fine. There are 104 stand keys and 26 no conflict keys, that manufacturer says has a 30 million time key stroke.
Set up was very easy because this is the plug and play type of keyboard and mouse. My MacBook Pro easily recognized it, and had me do a couple tests to make sure the device was correct. The mouse didn’t have any tasks for me to do so it was ready to go. I replugged in the keyboard and it did not ask me to do the tasks again, so once it’s been paired initially its good to go.
The keyboard and mouse light up on plug in and it looks very nice. There is 7 colors that you can switch to (red, blue, green, purple, white, light blue, light green). Some keys are just backlight and theres nice strips of full on LED on the sides. Testing out the color modes they all worked perfectly. The keys are exceptionally nice. I like the height of them and the click response. Also I had no issues with any keys not working properly.
Like I said earlier, the mouse is also a plug into the USB and is ready to go. This came with precision control and I was enjoying using the mouse. I’ve tried a couple to where after five minutes would go by I’s be back to using my MacBook. This too has the 7 LED changeable lighting and looks great as well. This does include a scroll wheel that I had no issues with using. The overall build of this mouse is quality. It says it has a 10 million click lifetime. The mouse also worked well with being on my desk surface. There were no delays or skips with scrolling.
The quality and build on this is pretty impressive and at the price it currently is, it’s very affordable making it a great deal. One thing to note, especially for gamers, is that this is a standard keyboard and not mechanical. I would highly recommend this to someone who is into gaming, or just someone wanting to add some fun to their desktop.
